You can fly directly into Hamilton Island, with all major domestic airlines flying passengers in daily. Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas all have direct flights daily from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns. It’s a modern and fully equipped airport, with Hamilton Island being the main air hub for the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef.
Island Transport
When you arrive into Hamilton Island you’ll be personally greeted by David Gardner (either at the airport or the marina if coming by boat). You’ll be escorted back to your apartment, and David will acquaint you with the Island on the journey back! During your stay on Hamilton Island you’ll have your own private golf buggy for use whilst holidaying.
